PTP’s Emma Walton Achieves Distinction and Secures Promotion to Home Manager

Congratulations to Emma Walton on achieving a Distinction in her Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship!

Emma has worked incredibly hard throughout her apprenticeship, growing in confidence and developing the knowledge and skills needed to progress in her career. Since completing her programme, Emma has already been promoted to Home Manager and is continuing her learning journey with us on a Level 5 qualification.

Reflecting on her achievement, Emma said:

“I am absolutely over the moon to have achieved a Distinction in my Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship, and I genuinely don’t think I would have achieved this without the incredible support and patience of my tutor, Kate.

Throughout my apprenticeship, Kate has always been there to encourage me, explain things when I didn’t understand and give me the confidence to believe in myself. She never made me feel like I was asking too many questions and always took the time to make sure I understood what I needed to do.

There were times when I doubted myself, but Kate never gave up on me. Her patience, understanding and constant encouragement made such a difference to my learning experience.

I am so proud of my Distinction, and I know that Kate played a huge part in helping me achieve it. I couldn’t have asked for a better tutor, and I will always be grateful for everything she has done for me.”

Emma’s tutor, Kate Wardle, said:

“It has been an absolute privilege to support Emma throughout her apprenticeship journey. I watched her grow in confidence, develop her knowledge and skills, and achieve a fantastic Distinction in her Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship. Since then, she has been promoted to Home Manager and is now continuing her development with me through her Level 5 qualification.

Seeing how far Emma has come, both personally and professionally, has been incredible. I genuinely couldn’t be prouder of her. She is such a lovely person, and I absolutely love working with her. Watching her believe in herself and achieve things she may not have thought possible is exactly why I love my job.

Emma is a real credit to her profession, and I feel very lucky to have been part of her journey.”

Congratulations, Emma. PTP Training can’t wait to see what you achieve next!
