Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW College) marked a major milestone as it celebrated 10 years of impact, growth, and community service with a prestigious 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner.

The event, held at the college’s Archers Restaurant on its Redditch campus, gathered key stakeholders, college leadership, and local partners for an evening of appreciation, reflection, and recognition of HoW College’s significant contributions to education and the local communities.

The evening showcased culinary delights expertly prepared and served by current catering and hospitality students from HoW College, who demonstrated their skills throughout the event. Guests enjoyed a skilfully prepared meal, reflecting the college’s commitment to hands-on learning and practical experience in professional settings.

The HOW College journey began in 2014 with the merger of North East Worcestershire College and Worcester College of Technology, and the gala evening highlighted key achievements at HoW College over the past decade*.

Michelle Dowse, Principal and Chief Executive Officer of HoW College, said: “The evening was a celebration of our shared achievements, resilience, and growth over the past 10 years.

“The accomplishments reflect the passion and commitment of our staff, students, and partners. We are deeply grateful for the support from our community and stakeholders, which has allowed us to innovate, collaborate, and inspire our students to achieve their potential.

She added: “We look forward to many more years of working together to build a brighter future for Worcestershire.”

Over the last 10 years, HoW College has not only provided quality education but also positively impacted the local communities through projects such as the Tiny Forest and various facility refurbishments, including Cathedral Building and Learning Resource Centres. HoW College’s programs have prepared thousands of students for thriving careers, fostered lifelong skills, and promoted social responsibility and environmental awareness.
