Performance Through People is delivering the ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management Skills as part of the Staffordshire Skills Bootcamps programme which provides funding towards the costs for employers based in Staffordshire or Stoke on Trent. Enrolment is now open for the next programme starting on Wednesday 30th September.
Designed for aspiring and existing managers, supervisors and team leaders, this practical programme provides the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to lead and manage people effectively.
The course is delivered face-to-face at PTP’s Cannock training centre over eight days, combining tutor-led learning, practical activities and group sessions. Learners will also complete two written assignments to achieve the ILM qualification.

- Developing effective decision-making
- Increasing confidence in a leadership role
Whether you are stepping into management for the first time or looking to develop your existing skills, the programme is designed to provide practical knowledge that can be applied directly in the workplace.
Who can apply?
The Skills Bootcamp is aimed at adults aged 19 and over who live or work in Staffordshire or Stoke on Trent. It is suitable for people who are employed, self-employed subject to the relevant eligibility criteria. Learners must also have the right to live in the UK, not be enrolled on another government-funded course at the same time and be able to commit to completing the programme.
Employers can use the programme to upskill existing employees, with a contribution of 10% for SMEs with fewer than 250 employees and 30% for larger employers.
