City of Wolverhampton College

Having motivated staff, equipped with the latest industry skills and knowledge, is vital for the effective operation of any business – whichever size or sector it operates in.

If you want to expand your team by employing young people with the latest industry skills, help to train the workforce of the future by taking on an apprentice, upskill existing members of staff, or organise cross-company training to bring all your employees’ knowledge up-to-date, City of Wolverhampton College can help.

The college’s purpose is Defining Futures – this means that everyone at the college is committed to supporting students and apprentices to complete their courses, achieve their qualifications and gain the skills and knowledge that employers in their chosen industry need their staff to have.

The college has a dedicated employer engagement team which will work with you to identify your staffing requirements and training needs and give advice on funding streams to help with recruitment and if you want to take on an apprentice, they will advertise the vacancy, screen applicants and shortlist candidates for interview on your behalf.

But the support we provide isn’t just about courses and qualifications – if you’re looking to take on a number of new employees but are struggling to recruit staff with the skills and knowledge you need, staff can work with you to develop a bespoke recruitment or training programme and help you access work-ready candidates for interview.

To discuss your requirement further, contact the employer engagement team at employerenquiries@wolvcoll.ac.uk / 01902 317541.
